HOPE will celebrate its volunteers at the 2019 Volunteer Appreciation event to be held at Second Baptist Church, May 10, from noon to 3 p.m. Currently 150 volunteers serve at HOPE on a regular basis.  Also, more than 25 civic, corporate and church groups volunteer on special projects throughout the year.   “This is the time when we are able to say thank you to all the people that partner with us to serve the community. Without our volunteers HOPE could not assist our clients the way it does,” according to Amy Vincent, Volunteer Coordinator.

HOPE has  a variety of volunteer jobs that allow each person to use their unique skill set and passion to best serve the community with assistance to move beyond their short term emergencies.  Additionally, individuals volunteer in our Food Pantries, Teaching Kitchen and in administrative functions.
