HOPE is pleased to announce Bobbie Hodges as the February Volunteer of the Month.
Bobbie Hodges is one of several people who serve in the background at HOPE on the Data Team. Her healthcare background and unique gifts are the perfect service combination. Bobbie began volunteering at HOPE in 2018 and has held multiple positions and has continued to be an asset to the team. She currently assists in reconciling pantry data and client services events data. She also provides support to the Donor Services Team by preparing Thank You Letters and recording in-kind donations.
When asked about why she chose HOPE, Bobbie stated, “At church they always have someone come in a talk about what’s going on at HOPE, and I felt compelled to help”.
“Volunteers like Bobbie have been such a blessing to HOPE. They possess a unique skill set and gifts that make our jobs easier and more fruitful,” stated Susan Dolphin, Assistant Director.
With all that is needed in our community we need volunteers with the special gifts like Bobbie and she loves helping and giving back to those who need it most. “Because HOPE is a charity, I feel that my time and effort is used in a way the reflects God,” Bobbie said.
During the pandemic Bobbie hasn’t missed a day and will continue to volunteer! Please help me congratulate Bobbie as our newest Volunteer of the Month!
Volunteers bring many gifts when they serve at HOPE from working directly with the community to working in the background.
